It isn’t exactly hard to love Irish trad music. Pretty much the second you hear a classic like Sharon Shannon’s Blackbird, the very least you’re going to do is start tapping your feet (clapping your hands is a sure thing too).
This is what Dublin City Trad Fest is all about. Starting on Monday, 20 January and running for seven nights, some of the best trad musicians in Ireland will be performing live on stage.
Located on the junction of Mary Street and Jervis Street, The Church Bar & Restaurant will play host to beloved Clare native Sharon Shannon on Thursday, 23 January (find out more here).
