Any of these ring a bell?
1. Home and Away
The drama at Summer Bay and Yabbie Creek consumed your life in college.
It was important that you watched it at lunchtime and at 6:30pm that evening. In case you missed anything.
2. O’Neills Tracksuit Pants
The must-have fashion accessory across the colleges and universities of Ireland.
The post-summer J1 students added a Hollister hoodie to complete the look.
3. Buckfast
Ah, the memories… nope, we can’t remember either.

4. Spaghetti Bolognese
The most-eaten meal in every college house.
You’d have it for dinner on Monday, the left-overs for lunch on Tuesday. You’d take a break for chicken Sweet and Sour on Wednesday, but back to Spag Bol on Thursday.
Yum.

5. Webtext
Before the days of mobile data, Wi-Fi, WhatsApp, Snapchat and Viber, people had text messages. MMS. SMS.
The problem for college students is that they cost 13 cent each which drained the credit pretty fast.
That’s where Webtext came to the rescue, it was the reason half the people were in the library.
6. Smells Like Teen Spirit
The Nirvana song that was the anthem of your first year at college.
You played it in your house during the day and it was one of the last songs in the club at night.
Good times.
7. Opening the fridge at home
It’s been years since we finished college, so now feels like the right time to admit that we were stealing from our families all along.
A quick run to the fridge before you got the bus back to stuff anything that seems remotely edible in your bag.
Sorry mam and dad.
8. A hickey
The official stamp for people who pulled the night before. It was worn with a mix of pride and embarrassment.
9. “Stand Clear – Luggage Doors Operate”
Press play and shudder.
10. Being broke
Yeah, college is great, but the down side is that you have no money which usually resulted in a text message like this.
11. Limewire
People’s interest in music usually takes off when they go to college, but buying it is tough when you’ve no money (sse above).
That’s where Limewire came in handy, so many USB sticks full of songs.
If we forgot any obvious ones, comment on Facebook or tweet us back.
