15 cars JOE would love to drive…

We’re telling you now; if we win the Lotto we’re going to buy every single one of these motors

Oisin Collins

Sure, everyone wants to drive a supercar at least once in their lifetime, but there’s a whole parking lot of motors that JOE wants to test out for a range of different reasons.

Lads, we mean it when we say that if we won the Lotto, we’d buy every single one of these cars so that you could test drive for them yourself.

However, the problem is that we very rarely remember to actually do the Lotto. A problem that most of us have…

So, like our good selves here in JOE, you’ll have to settle with test driving the following dream machines in The Crew, which is out now on Xbox One, PS4 & Windows PC.

All that’s left to do is to get a towel and prepare to drool over these 15 cars JOE would LOVE to drive.

You can find out more about each car over thecrew-game.ubi.com.

8kXzkp5

Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Top Speed: 390 km/h
0-100KM/H: 4.6s
Reason Why: We want to feel like James Bond did in The Living Daylights, but we want to newest Vantage model when we do it. God only knows what a 30-year-old car owned by MI6’s best agent smells like after all these years…

BENTLEY-CONTINENTAL-SUPERSPORTS-2010_full_big

Bentley Continental Supersport

Top Speed: 329 km/h
0-100KM/H: 3.9s
Reason Why: Nothing says GET OUT OF MY WAY better than a super posh supercar and no car is posher than the Bentley Continental Supersport. The only problem is that we’d have to move to Monte Carlo to feel like we fit in.

Chevrolet-Corvette-appears-in-latest-screenshot-from-The-Crew

Chevy Corvette C6 ZR1

Top Speed: 330 km/h
0-100KM/H: 3.3s
Reason Why: American’s sure do love their speed and acceleration and if you find yourself in a drag race showdown you’re going to want a car that’s quick off the line. That’s why we want the Corvette C6 ZR1.

Chevrolet-Camaro-RS-1969_full_big

Chevy Camaro RS ‘69

Top Speed: 210 km/h
0-100KM/H: 6.0s
Reason Why: While supercars are great, we can’t forget about the motors that paved the way for what we see today and when it comes to vintage muscle cars, the Chevy Camaro RS ’69 will always be one of our favourites. We would add some airbag suspension just for good measure and make it jump around like you see in all those rap videos.

Dodge_ViperSRT10_2010_full_big

Dodge Viper SRT

Top Speed: 325km/h
0-100KM/H: 3.4s
Reason Why: We grew up with a poster of the Dodge Viper on our wall and it’s now proudly hanging up in JOE Towers (even though it’s falling apart and being held together by 20-year-old Sellotape), so we have to drive this beast at least once.

DODGE_RAM_SRT10_2004_full_big

Dodge Ram SRT-10

Top Speed: 246 km/h
0-100KM/H: 5.2s
Reason Why: We don’t just love track racing here at JOE, we also love taking things off-road and what better motor to choose for some all-wheel drive antics than the Dodge Ram SRT-10. It set a new world record for the fastest production truck, so it has that going for it as well.

focus

Ford Focus RS

Top Speed: 264 km/h
0-100KM/H: 5.9s
Reason Why: The Ford Focus RS is our dream rally car. There’s nothing more we’d love to do in this machine than send it over a huge hump at 160km/h just to see how far we could fly.

SHELBY-GT500-2013_full_big

Ford Shelby GT500

Top Speed: 321 km/h
0-100KM/H: 5.1s
Reason Why: Whenever we think of fast American motors we think of Carroll Shelby the automotive designer who put his signature touches on a number of well known motors. The most memorable being the Mustang. That’s why we want the latest edition…

ferrari

La Ferrari

Top Speed: 350 km/h
0-100KM/H: 3.0s
Reason Why: Ferrari’s latest hypercar, imaginatively titled LaFerrari (we wonder how long it took them to come up with that), produces a mind-blowing 963hp. So we’d like to see what our faces look like when they’re melting into the headrest. The car is also a hybrid, so that should keep the polar bears happy too.

LAMBORGHINI-MURCIELAGO-LP640_full_big

Lamborghini Murciélago LP640

Top Speed: 340 km/h
0-100KM/H: 3.4s
Reason Why: The Lamborghini Murciélago is one of the best-known Italian supercars and we’d love to get in on a piece of the action. We’d simply park our Murciélago up on the side of the street and watch as people take selfies with the Italian beast. Then we’d rev the engine and scare the bejaysus out of any nosy parkers.

nissan

Nissan 370Z

Top Speed: n/a
0-100KM/H: n/a
Reason Why: If there’s one thing that most Japanese car manufacturers know how to do well, it’s make their cars go sideways and there’s no better drift machine than the Nissan 370Z.

Nissan-R34_full_big

Nissan Skyline GT-R

Top Speed: n/a
0-100KM/H: n/a
Reason Why: Another car that has been hanging on our walls since the early 90’s is the Skyline GT-R. Many a boy racer grew up admiring the car’s sleeper looks and supercar ability and so we want one more for nostalgic reasons than anything else.

Pagani

Pagani Huayra

Top Speed: 360 km/h
0-100KM/H: 3.2s
Reason Why: No car boggles our collective minds more than the Pagani Huayra. It looks like a fighter jet that’s currently having an identity crisis and it has more carbon fibre than you could imagine. That’s what makes it so light and that’s what makes us what to drive one.

RUF-3400-K_full_big

RUF 3400K

Top Speed: 290 km/h
0-100KM/H: 4.4s
Reason Why: What’s the next best thing to a Porsche? A Ruf, of course. Why? Eh, because it’s a Porsche in wolf’s clothing. The Ruf is super fast, super sexy and most importantly, it’s one of our all time dream machines.

shelbygt500

’67 Shelby GT500

Top Speed: 212 km/h
0-100KM/H: 6.8s
Reason Why: There’s that Shelby name again. If we want to test out the latest version of the GT500, you can bet your bottom dollar that we want to test out one of the original models too. A drag race down memory lane, anyone?
