Amanda Roche Kelly, Managing Director Just Eat Ireland said: “The Just Eat National Takeaway Awards continue to grow year on year. The number of restaurants that enter, the numbers of votes cast and the overall attendance at the awards has grown significantly since we launched the Awards in 2014.

“It is becoming a really important date on the calendar of not only the 2,000 restaurants on the Just Eat platform but on the calendar of all those in the country who strive to create and deliver quality food for consumers to takeaway.

“We know how committed our takeaway restaurant partners are by providing a quality service for customers and we think it’s extremely important to recognise and celebrate this. As the takeaway sector continues to diversify and expand, the scope for these awards can only increase.

“I would particularly like to say a huge congratulations to Burrito Loco who scooped the overall prize this year as well as winning in two other categories. Over the years they have been a firm favourite at the awards and it’s fantastic to see their efforts and hard work pay off with the recognition this evening.”
