Unsurprisingly, this young man didn't see the funny side to this prank.
Posting under his Facebook name of Tom Grim Fandango Matthews, he explains that someone managed to attach a padlock through his ear before making a hasty getaway. Having shared the image below, it soon went viral. While Tom didn't appear too amused by the trick, it seems plenty of other people were.
