Then, four days in, you realise nothing is ever as complicated as it first seems. You're aceing it and impressing everyone, including yourself.
A new group of workmates
Those water-cooler chats, where the same guy bitches about his boss OVER AND OVER AGAIN are a thing of the past.
You've got new workmates, new stories and new conversations. Now's the time to set the standard for the sort of person you want to be in your new role. Embrace it.
More money, satisfaction, time
We don't want to assume, but chances are you looked for a new job because you were either unemployed or not satisfied with some aspect of your old one. You know what this means - new horizons and probably a few extra quid in your pocket too. Nice.
You've got your enthusiasm back
If you've switched jobs recently, you were probably a little fed-up with your old position. If that's the case, starting a new job will give your joy for work back, which you probably haven't had in ages.
