Almost all of us will peruse Trip Advisor before we set off on our holidays. And most of us have a look at the top attractions, as voted for by the ratings of those that have gone to our destination before us. But anyone heading to Glasgow will notice that one attraction is a little different to the rest.
Mary Johnston, a 60-year-old woman from Glasgow tried to sign up to the site as a regular user but somehow, her profile was added as a Glasgow tourist attraction.
Mary is now ranked 87 out of 163 attractions in the Scottish city and the standard Trip Advisor blurb that says ‘Have you been to Mary Johnston? Share your experience’ has led to lots of mischievous posting.
The posts have since been deleted from the site, along with Mary’s picture, but here it is in all its glory, as grabbed by Redditor Chris Murphy.
Mary’s listing still exits, check here, and she has told The Scotsman that she is not too upset as ‘at least it is a good picture of me’.
That’s the spirit Mary.
