The Bingo Loco live stream is returning to living rooms across Ireland this weekend

Go loco in your own living room this Saturday night.

Easter weekend has arrived and although we all won’t be able to celebrate it as we might normally do, that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun in a virtual capacity from the safety of your own homes.

Some of you may remember that the folks at Bingo Loco – a craze which swept the nation last year – ran a live stream of the event a couple of weekends ago and though they didn’t quite know what they were letting themselves in for, it turned out to be a massive success.

As many as 50,000 tuned into the event first time out and the event raised over €45,000 for the Mater Foundation, directly supporting those on the frontline of the Covid-19 crisis, making it a no-brainer to give it a go again.

The organisers have promised to make it a more streamlined operation this time around and have asked us here at JOE to get involved, which is exactly what we’ll be doing by posting the live stream on our Facebook page at 8pm this Saturday night (11 April).

The event, in case you didn’t know, is completely free but those who can afford it are asked to make a donation to Pieta House during the event. You can find out more about the great work they do at Pieta House right here.

This Saturday, expect the usual mix of comedian hosts, celebrity special guests (perhaps performing a live song or two), some banging tunes and some insane prizes.

Participants are also encouraged to send in photos and videos to [email protected], the best of which will be posted throughout the show.

If you want to grab a bingo book, you can do so via the following link, but if you just want to sit back and watch the madness unfold, remember, the place to go is the JOE Facebook page at 8pm on Saturday night.
