A filmmaker and a chef have come up with a great event to aid homeless people in Dublin

Fair play to “the big-hearted bastard”.

Actor and filmmaker Terry McMahon and Sean Drugan will host a special event on Monday (May 30) at the Vintage Kitchen restaurant on Dublin’s Poolbeg Street to raise money for homeless people in Dublin.

McMahon announced details about the event on his Facebook page, with thirty guests asked to pay €100 apiece for a meal in the highly-regarded Vintage Kitchen, which is usually closed on Mondays.

McMahon and Drugan intend to use the money raised from the event to hand out cash to homeless people in Dublin, as he explains in greater detail below.
