We have absolutely no clue as to what message Duck Brand are trying to get across in this ad but it's got lots of cool looking duct tape and a playa named Tron guy. Nice one.

Duck Brand call it a "spectacular stop motion recreation of the light cycle scene from Tron, featuring Tron Guy aka Jay Maynard" - we call it a game to solve any mid-life crisis.

The ad recreates one of the most iconic scenes in Tron - the high-tech lightcycle race that unfolds on a massive grid within the film’s digital universe.

The video has gone viral on Vimeo and YouTube since being launched last weekend and the brand's digital marketing director, David Rodgers is one happy man with the unexpected outcome on Vimeo, in particular.

"The Internet gods just decided to have the viral take place on Vimeo," Rodgers said, speaking with ClickZ News on Tuesday. He wasn't complaining though, stating, "It's not easy to have something go viral."
