Aer Lingus announces flash sale on flights to America this summer

You better hurry, the sale ends soon...

It's halfway through the month of June, and you're probably still getting asked the question;

"Where are you heading off to for the holidays this summer?"

And, if you're anything like this writer, you're woefully unorganised and haven't booked a single thing.

Well, luck is on your side, as Aer Lingus has just organised a flash sale, with big savings on flights to North America this summer.

The deal comes as Covid restrictions ease for passengers heading to the US, with travellers no longer required to provide a negative Covid test before entering the country.

Passengers will be able to save €100 on return economy tickets to North America, and save €200 on return business class seats.

Tickets on sale are valid from July to September this year, giving you enough time to sort out your summer holiday woes.

Aer Lingus operate 13 direct routes between North America and Ireland, including Dublin to New York, Newark, Chicago, Washington D.C., Boston, Orlando, Philadelphia, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle from 7 July.

Passengers from Shannon can also avail of the deals, with direct flights to New York and Boston.

“The announcement of the lifting of testing on travel into the US is warmly welcomed by all of us in Aer Lingus," said Reid Moody, Chief Strategy and Planning Officer at Aer Lingus.

"To celebrate, we are launching a flash-sale which will be live until the 17th of June and offers up to €200 off return flights. We’re looking forward to welcoming our customers back onboard this summer, and reconnecting families, friends and colleagues, and supporting business and tourism on both sides of the Atlantic.”

The sale is live now over on the Aer Lingus website, but book fast, as the deals are only in place until midnight on 17 June.
