After 3,000+ votes, this is the chocolate bar you’d most like to see make a comeback

Tony Cuddihy

Once again, the people have spoken.

We know that Cadbury’s are planning to bring back the Fuse bar – something we’re very happy to know – while a petition has been started to get the humble Mars Delight back on the shelves of your local shop.

This all came about after our list of the 15 best chocolate bars that are no longer in production.

The Irish people have now voted for another famous bar of the (recent) past to go back into production.

Last week, we put out this poll to find out what you think, and more than 20% voted for this…

TimeOut

Yep, it’s the TimeOut (as opposed to the TimeOut Wafer, which you can get in shops now).

Out of more than 3,000 votes cast, 680 people voted for the return of the bar in its original form, with a layer of Flake sandwiched between two wafers and covered with chocolate.

Next on the list, each with a score of between 12% and 13% of the total vote, were the Cadbury’s trio of the Dream (13.3%), the Smiley (12.7%) and the Snowflake (12.6%)

On the bottom end of the scale, very few people care to see the reincarnation of the Orange Crunchie (2%) or the Triple Chocolate Twix (3%).
