If one partner is cheating in a relationship there are likely to be signs…

Unexplained late nights in work, extreme privacy and lies can all be indications that they’re playing away. Now according to new research, your age can also be a factor in your ability to remain faithful.

The research found that the ‘danger age’ is 39. The study discovered at this stage of life people are twice as likely to cheat. It also found that people are most likely to have affairs as they approach a new decade in age, for example 29 or 49.

The research was conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, a website that encourages its customers to seek out extramarital affairs.

Previous research from the website also found that infidelity in Ireland is on the rise.

According to them, there has been a 200 percent increase in the number of Irish people signing up to their, ahem, service. The website maintains that the Republic of Ireland is the fastest growing area for sign-ups.

“ROI is the fastest growing area we have and we have seen a 200% increase on the rate of sign-ups there,” said a spokeswoman for the naughty website.

While IllicitEncounters.com doesn’t know the number of cheaters in each county yet, the website does have figures for each county located in Northern Ireland.

According to their statistics, Armagh is the county which has the most affairs, where a massive 3,021 people have signed up for the website, with 6.44% actively meeting up with people and cheating on their partners.
