Aldi have warned their customers about an online coupon scam

Paul Moore

Take note and don’t get caught out.

Aldi have warned their Irish customers to be aware of an online scam that’s currently in circulation. In the fraudulent email, people are offered a coupon that’s worth €100 but it’s not recognised or accepted by the supermarket.

Aldi cleared up the issue via their Facebook page and warn their consumers to be vigilant: “We have been notified that there is a hoax €100 off Aldi coupon being circulated.

“This post is fraudulent and can not be redeemed in our stores. There are no money off vouchers currently in circulation apart from those that have appeared in the Sunday papers last weekend. For further information please contact our customer service team on 1800 991 828.”
