There's been a lot of buzz about low-calorie, low-alcohol wines lately and now Aldi has introduced their own Featherweight version. The supermarket chain has launched two 'lighter' wines, a Pinot Grigio and a White Zinfandel, both of which contain only 5.5 percent ABV (alcohol by volume). You can pick up a bottle for €4.49 and it's estimated that one glass comes in at 60 calories, significantly lighter than 200 calories in your average glass of white. Both wines went on sale on Monday and are now available to buy in all 130 Aldi stores across Ireland if you feel like checking them out.
