What would you recommend for Batgirl to try out?
Full-on blast-from-the-past Alicia Silverstone put it Twitter, telling the world that she is on her way to Dublin, and asking for recommendations on stuff to do, and – much more importantly – what to eat while she’s here:
I'm heading to #Dublin soon – what must I do and where must I eat?? 😊

The star of Clueless, Excess Baggage, Blast From The Past and, much more recently, The Killing Of A Sacred Deer is currently having a career resurgence in the States thanks to her hit new show, American Woman.
Obviously taking a well deserved holiday, Ireland appears to be on the agenda, and she wants the locals to tell her what to check out.
First things first, we have to commend the reply that immediately called attention to the fact that Silverstone was in arguably one of the worst films ever made:
Just make sure to bring your Bat Credit Card *ka-ching*

There was also this national institution, and we’re pretty sure she could wrangle a VIP card if she’d like:
Lovely upmarket wine bar called @CopperFaceJacks, for some light nourishment after hit up #babylon 🙂

We appreciate this dude chancing his arm – hey, you don’t get anywhere without asking! – but then followed it up with a genuinely fantastic Dublin recommendation:
I’ll cook for you! 😂 If not then a Guinness and a ham cheese toastie in Grogan’s watching Dublin go by!

There are also some folk who clearly have their own local faves that probably aren’t going to be appearing on World’s Best Restaurant lists any time soon, but they’ve still got a special place in people’s hearts. And stomachs.
Molloys in Tallaght Village does a chicken wings and pint special. Worth a look…

You must order a spice bag and you must eat said spice bag. After that, you're pretty much done. Enjoy!

And finally, there’s Aoife and … Trenchant (?) … who seem to have veered away from recommendations for Alicia, and just setting up dinner for themselves.

We look forward to finding which, if any, of these recommendations she actually does check out!
