One of the most famous comedy groups of all time are expected to announce their reunion this week and to celebrate, we’ve taken a look back at some of our favourite sketches from Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

Excitement in the JOE office was cranked up to 11 earlier today when we learned of the expected reunion of Monty Python, one of the most famous comedy groups of all time and the geniuses behind films like Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Life of Brian and the brilliant TV show Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

We’ll be celebrating some of our favourite moments from the Monty Python movies a little later this week – and our own Eoghan Doherty will be talking all things Monty Python on the KC Show on Today FM on Friday – but today we decided to recall some of the favourite sketches put together by Cleese, Chapman, Gilliam, Idle, Jones, Palin and company on the Flying Circus and there was a helluva lot to choose from.

In no particular order, here they are. Enjoy!
