Excuse us while we go and drool uncontrollably for a moment.

For the strong-willed amongst you who have managed to refrain from eating chocolate for the last six weeks or so, the end is very much in sight. Just three more days. You can do it people. If you’re struggling to get through the last few days without that chocolate fix, then the sight of a cocktail that will be on the menu in Karma Nightclub in Athlone this weekend might just send you over the edge. Having already made a Crème Egg cocktail earlier this year, Karma’s head mixologist Jeff has created an ice cream-based cocktail, containing alcohol that will be served out of actual Easter Eggs. If that doesn’t sound delicious enough in its own right, then feast your eyes on these… Jeff is just back from participating in the All-Ireland Cocktail competition in Dublin on Tuesday and is awaiting word on whether he’s going to make the finals in May; if he’s looking for testimonials, no doubt he’ll have plenty from Karma’s customers after the long weekend.
