Attention gin lovers of Ireland, there’s now a gin school in Louth that you might fancy visiting

Paul Moore

This should be popular.

We’re firmly of the opinion that the most popular Christmas present this year wasn’t a Furby, Hatchimal or diamond engagement ring, it was this gin advent calendar. Yep, people absolutely adore gin.

If you’re on a night out and your tipple of choice happens to be Hendrick’s or London Dry, then a visit to Listoke Distillery & Gin School in Drogheda, Louth might just be the thing for you.

Why? Well, the Listoke Gin School is now welcoming students into its school and it looks like good fun.

Ok, what exactly can you learn at this gin school?

The class begins with some light refreshments before students are given a brief lesson about the history of Listoke Estate and their distilling heritage.

A quick tour of our distillery is next, but then the fun begins.

Students will be introduced to three different gin profiles which will help them design the flavour profile for their own personal gin.

Yes, that’s right. You get to create your own brand of gin that will be distilled into your own exclusive bottle.

Refreshments and G&T’s will also be served throughout your class. If this sounds like it’s up your alley, you can learn more about it here.
