Audi’s latest generation of the TT has been given a pretty cool haircut…
Audi is presenting the new TT Roadster and the TTS Roadster at the Paris Motor Show next week and we have to say, it’s one drop-dead gorgeous drop-top.
The new TT Roadster and the TTS Roadster feature an electrically actuated fabric top, which is available as standard in black, titanium grey and jive (which is a brown-ish colour).
With parts made from magnesium, aluminium, steel and plastic, the soft top weighs just 39 kilograms and is 3 kilograms lighter than its predecessor. The top will also fold up in 10 seconds flat even at speeds of up to 50km/h, which is sure to come in handy in Irish weather.
The new TT Roadster is being launched with two turbocharged four-cylinder engines, a TDI and a TFSI. With power outputs between 184 hp and 310 hp, they surpass the respective predecessor engines in terms of power. A more beastly TT sounds good to us!
The Irish equipment and pricing for the new TT Roadster and TTS Roadster will be announced shortly with first customer deliveries in quarter 1 2015. Until then, enjoy the pics above…
