With all due respect to the great man, the Irish rugby team appear to be coping just fine in the absence of Brian O’Driscoll since his retirement, although one could argue that no one player has yet filled his boots as THE saviour of Irish rugby.

The search for that saviour was the theme in another excellent Gift Grub this morning as Joseph (Joe Schmidt) and the Virgin Mary (Ronan O’Gara) go to Bethlehem to find the person who will reveal themselves as the new saviour of Irish rugby at next year’s Rugby World Cup.

With special guest appearances from George Hook as an ass, Paul O’Connell, Ryle Nugent and Michael Corcoran as the three wise men and Rob Kearney as an innkeeper with no room left, it’s the Nativity like you’ve never heard it before.

It also includes a kind-hearted farewell to Ray D’Arcy, following his high-profile departure from Today FM last weekend. Awww. (Scroll down to play audio below).
