St Patrick's Day has been bringing out the weird and wonderful in everyone this weekend, and it seems that it's not only Temple Bar that's covered in shamrocks, green beer and clothes of shades chartreuse and lime.
It often seems that our distant cousins, the Americans, actually celebrate the holiday with more gusto and enthusiasm (albeit incorrect spelling) but the US Army has truly blown us away with their tribute to our patron saint.
Taking to Twitter, the Army posted a 55 second video comprising of Army-related stunts, CGI'd shamrocks, eerie traditional Irish tunes and a dancing segment framed with a tricolour.
Who knew they were so...patriotic.

Alongside the post were the words: "Happy #StPatricksDay from the #USArmy. We appreciate how everyone wears a little green like us today."
The video has been met with mixed receptions online, especially due to the high number of bombs, guns and dangerous activity showcased in the clip.
Well, at least they didn't say St Patty's day, right?
