PICS: Group of friends in County Meath have built an igloo with a fully stocked bar

Rory Cashin

Now THIS is living!

It is like visiting a really awesome Iceland ice-bar, except without having to get a flight there first.

Ruth Kelly sent the pictures in to JOE of her and her mates hanging out in the bar-gloo (yes, we’re calling it a bar-gloo, you jelly?), and we have to say, we’re totally digging it.

Ruth is joined by Conor Dunphy, Kyle Dunphy, Paul McGrath, Niamh Murray and “Project Manager” Robert Price enjoy some social lubrication after all the hard work they put into creating the architectural piece of frozen art.

Six hours of hard work later, including a fire and a chimey and a functioning bar!

It must be good to know that the drinks will definitely be cold when they get served, that the prices won’t be jacked up too high, and that the door policy is … well, whatever they want it to be!

Hey Ruth, are you taking bookings for the bar-gloo yet??
