A beer, bourbon, and BBQ festival is coming to Dublin later this month

Rory Cashin

We’re already drooling…

Do you like alcohol?

Do you like another, stronger type of alcohol?

And do you like smoked meats?

Then we’ve some great news for you, because there is a weekend-long beer, bourbon, and BBQ festival coming to Dublin later this month.

Kicking off on Friday 24 May and running through to Sunday 26 May, the festival is set to take place in the Bison Bar & BBQ, as well as The Workman’s Club, both found on the quays in Dublin 2.

For anyone with a passing knowledge of great BBQ places, you’ll already know that when it comes to the best BBQ joints in the capital, the Bison Bar is regularly mentioned.

On top of the specially created BBQ feasts that will be available for the weekend, there will also be unique cocktails, plenty of live music and DJs and loads of competitions and prizes.

And… try to remain calm… an actual chilli eating competition!

Now, we’re not 100% recommending that you drink some candle wax beforehand to cover the inside of your mouth and protect yourself from the intensity of the heat and end up going on some kind of vision quest… but we’re not NOT recommending that, either.

The full line-up for the weekend can be found here:
