This guy has a pretty ingenious way of getting beer into Electric Picnic

Give this guy an award.

Rory Cashin

This guy deserves some kind of award for this.

While there are plenty of outlets at the Electric Picnic festival that will sell you some alcoholic libations over the course of the weekend, some festival-goers will be bringing their own drinks to enjoy back at the tent for before, in-between, and after (and probably during, let’s be honest) the musical performances.

However, getting the drinks from here (where you live) to there (where your tent will be for the weekend) isn’t the easiest.

Especially because carrying a tray of cans takes up exactly 100% of your hands, so you better hope that not one part of your better gets an itch for the next few hours.

Especially if you don’t have a car to bring them in, like this chap clearly doesn’t.

Especially if you aren’t equipped with the kind of brazen inventiveness that this chap clearly has in abundance, turning what would be a heavy problem into an opportunity for LOLz.

So with that in mind, ladies and gentlemen, let us introduce you to… The Beer Rucksack.

Yes, it is clearly made out of sellotape.

And yes, he is holding that beer to his body like most fathers hold their young babies in little baby carriers.

And yes, if we were to guess, that black bag on his shoulder is probably also filled with booze.

That doesn’t take away from the obvious genius on display.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Give this guy some kind of award. He deserves it. Maybe one filled with beer?
