Nicely played…
On January 1, Colorado became the first state in the US where it is legal to sell marijuana. Over 30 shops, who could only sell weed to prescription holders up to now, began selling the drug to anyone who wanted it and business was pretty brisk on day one.
The Irish Times estimates that Colorado will make $67million in taxes from 2014 sales alone, but lots of other companies will probably benefit from relaxed marijuana laws too.
One of them, Ben and Jerry’s, highlighted their munchie-quenching potential with this rather good tweet last night.

We reckon Baked Alaska and Cherry Garcia will probably sell very well for them…
