Ever eaten in any of these places?
The Merrion Hotel in Dublin, Ballynahinch Castle in Galway and Gougane Barra Hotel in Cork were amongst the venues named as the best places to eat breakfast in Ireland at the 2017 Georgina Campbell Irish Breakfast Awards.
The awards, held in association with Fáilte Ireland, were held at the InterContinental Hotel in Dublin on Wednesday, with representatives of the very best in Irish hospitality and Irish food invited along to receive special commendations and awards for their excellent contribution to and delivery of The Irish Breakfast experience.

Hotels, restaurants, cafés, guest houses and visitor attractions throughout Ireland received awards on the day, while there was also special mention for brands responsible for the manufacture of breakfast foods in meat, fish, cereals and dairy categories.
