The top 25 hotels in Ireland have been revealed in the 2018 TripAdvisor Awards

If you want to stay in the best hotels in Ireland, then head to Kerry.

That’s the impression one gets when reading the list of the best hotels in Ireland in TripAdvisor’s 2018 Travellers’ Choice Awards, with seven of the top 25 situated in the Kingdom.

Included in those seven is the number-one ranked hotel in the country, the Killarney Park Hotel, which knocks Harvey’s Point in Donegal off the top spot for the first time in six years.

The fall from grace for Harvey’s Point wasn’t too dramatic as it was still ranked in second place in this year’s list, ahead of Ashford Castle in Mayo, Hayfield Manor in Cork and Ballygarry House Hotel and Spa in Kerry.

After Kerry, Donegal and Dublin were next best represented on the list with four hotels each, followed by Cork with three, Mayo with two and one apiece for Laois, Clare, Limerick, Galway and Monaghan (you can see the list of 25 in full below).
