Here are the best restaurants, hotels and beaches in Ireland, as per the 2019 TripAdvisor Awards

Rozzers Restaurant in Killarney’s Killeen House Hotel has been named as the best fine dining establishment in Ireland at the 2019 Travellers’ Choice Awards by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel platform.

The restaurant in Kerry earned the top accolade, as voted by guests who post reviews on the popular site.

Located within the Killeen House Hotel, the creative force in Rozzers is head chef Paul O’Gorman.

Hayley Coleman of TripAdvisor remarked: “The fine dining restaurant scene is extremely competitive so for Rozzers Restaurant to have consistently climbed up the rankings year after year to claim the number one spot in Ireland is a huge achievement and is testament to the stellar job that the team is doing”.

The Travellers’ Choice Awards for Restaurants acknowledge travellers’ favourite dining establishments worldwide. Based on a full year of TripAdvisor reviews, the winning establishments were consistently given high ratings and praise by diners across the globe.

As for the rest of the top 10 in the Best Fine Dining Restaurants category, the establishments are; Pearl Brasserie (Dublin), Packie’s (Kenmare), Anada (Dublin), The Chart House (Dingle), Chapter One (Dublin), Dax (Dublin), Mulberry Garden (Dublin), L’Ecrivain (Dublin), Patrick Guilbaud (Dublin).

In terms of the best hotels in Ireland, Harvey’s Point in Donegal was the overall winner. The luxury hotel has an idyllic location amid the Bluestack Mountains, on the edge of Lough Eske.

Aside from this, it’s not too far from Donegal town, provides gourmet food, and is ideal for fishing, horse riding, golf and hill walking.

Rounding off the top 10 in the Best Hotel category are; The Killarney Park (Kerry), The Merrion Hotel (Dublin), Ashford Castle (Mayo), Dromoland Castle Hotel (Clare), International Hotel (Kerry), Adare Manor (Limerick), Hayfield Manor (Cork), Ballygarry House Hotel & Spa (Kerry), and The Marker (Dublin).

In terms of Ireland’s best beaches, the picturesque Inchydoney Beach in Cork made the strongest impression on TripAdvisor users and topped the list.

Banna Strand (Tralee), Inch Beach (Kerry), Strandhill Beach (Sligo), and Derrynane Beach (Kerry) complete the top five.
