Iconic, prestigious, and a landmark moment in modern culture.

Iconic.

A few weeks ago we announced that the Just Eat Awards had announced the five nominees for the prestigious Best Spice Bag In Ireland Award, and we promptly lost our minds.

It gave us a new goal in our lives: to try each and every one of these spice bags.

The nominees were as follows:

Sunflower Chinese Takeaway, 4 Orwell Shopping Centre, Templeogue, Dublin

LY Garden, Unit 6 St Dominic’s Shopping Centre, Millbrook Lawns, Dublin 24

Lin Kee, 56 North St, Townparks, Swords, Co. Dublin

Foo Lok, 73 Woodview Grove, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Saba To Go, 13 Rathgar Rd, Dublin 6

Both the Best Spice Bag and the other short-listed award nominees – for the likes of Best Curry, Best Chipper, and so on – were all told who the winners were at the Just Eat Awards, which took place in Number Twenty-Two in Dublin, with the awards ceremony hosted by Louise Duffy and Colm O’Regan.

There were tears of joy and tears of sadness as the winners and losers were announced, but ultimately, all eyes were on the Best Spice Bag Award.

And the winner is…

LIN KEE in SWORDS!

So congratulations to them, commiserations to everyone else, but don’t worry, because it is still our life goal to try each and every one of them.
