It comes down to whether you prefer the build-up or the pay-off…
On November 1st, when whoever is in charge of the world pushed that big red button that turns every Halloween decoration immediately into a Christmas decoration, the run-up to the big day officially begins, whether you like it or not.
You’ll probably recall the time we covered this store that opened their Christmas department 147 days before Christmas Day itself.
That is a LOOOONG lead-up.
However, there is a bit of a debate online regarding whether or not Christmas Day itself is a bit of a let-down, and people are voicing their opinion that they much prefer the atmosphere of Christmas Eve, because the since of anticipation in the air is better than the felling of “Oh, it’s over?” that comes with the big day itself.
lowkey christmas eve is more exciting than christmas day…there's still that spark of anticipation while christmas day is built up for a month and its over in a second

Is it just me who prefers Christmas Eve over Christmas Day? Like, I'm more excited for the 24th because the hype for Christmas is at its peak and it feels more Christmassy than actual Christmas day.

So what do you think?
Christmas Eve VS Christmas Day, which do you prefer?
