Having male genitalia is not a prerequisite for BDE.
If you've been on the internet at all over the last week or so, then you've probably been aware of Big Dick Energy.
You've probably also passed it off as some kind of porno joke and thought nothing more of it, except the BDE Phenomenon doesn't appear to be going anywhere and you're getting curious, but is it even safe to look it up?
Will it just be a collection of images of large penises?
No.
You'll be happy (maybe?) to hear that BDE simply refers to the vibe you send out, a
Big Dick Energy that is defined as "confidence without cockiness. It is never misplaced and it cannot be simulated. It is the sexual equivalent of writing a check for $10k knowing you got it in the bank account [sic]."
To be clear though, you don't need to have a BD to have BDE. (Which isn't to say you don't also have a BD, but they aren't mutually exclusive.)
Actually, you don't even actually have to have a D.
Rihanna probably has more BDE than anyone else on the planet. She'd most likely be joined by the likes of Idris Elba, Cate Blanchett, Chris Evans, Serena Williams, Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Graham Norton, Robert Downey Jr, Janelle Monae and Jon Hamm, all of their BDE cups are overflowing.
So where did it actually originate?
Well, Ariana Grande apparently tweeted (and then hastily deleted) tweets about her new fiance Pete Davidson which generously described his dong. Off the back of that, some of her several million followers kept the memory of her removed tweet alive, which culminated with this masterpiece:

So how do you know if you have BDE?
Well, if you have to ask...
Yeah, kind of like asking someone if they think you're cool, that kind of automatically means you aren't. Also, if there is such a thing as BDE, then that also means there is such a thing as LDE (which everyone online almost immediately used to describe Trump), as well as MDE, or Mediocre Dick Energy, which... doesn't sound like the worst thing in the world, really.
More than likely, if you have BDE, you aren't reading this article, because you don't care whether or not you have BDE.
