This guy is seriously lucky to have survived with just a broken wrist.
YouTube user Calvin Hobbes recently uploaded the following video that features a lane splitting biker rear-ending a car on a busy motorway.
Now, before anyone starts pointing the finger of blame, here’s what Calvin had to say about the incident: “There were several problems with this situation, the Motorcyclist was going way too fast for traffic conditions and the Red car didn’t signal while changing lanes and seems not to notice the Motorcycle coming up behind it at a high rate of speed.
“Sad, this type of rider gives those of us who ride everyday a bad name and many people in cars don’t look or signal before changing lanes.”
Regardless of who was at fault (although, it does looks like both the driver of the red car and the biker share an equal amount of blame) the video above shows us just how dangerous lane splitting on a bike can be in dense traffic.
