Blake Lively is back in Dublin filming her new movie

Olivia Hayes

The actress first landed in Dublin eight months ago.

Blake Lively is back in Dublin to film more scenes for her upcoming film The Rhythm Section.

The actress filmed in the city just eight months ago, where she took to the streets of Dublin looking completely different in short wigs and long, shabby layers.

The female-driven international espionage thriller, also starring Jude Law, tells the story of an assassin who loses her entire family in a plane crash.

Lively plays protagonist Stephanie Patrick, who is on a mission to fill the void between what she knows and what she is told.

After discovering from a journalist that the crash wasn’t an accident and watching that journalist get killed, she adopts the identity of an assassin in order to track down those responsible.

She then goes off and seeks revenge on those she believes are responsible.

While filming stopped at the end of last year due to injury, it seems like it has now resumed, and Blake was once again spotted in the capital.

She was seen – and photographed – this weekend, filming outside the hotel The Cliff on Stephen’s Green.

Based on the novel by Mark Burnell, its movie adaptation is being directed by Reed Morano whose work you might be familiar with from The Handmaid’s Tale and the Skeleton Twins.

The Rhythm Section is due for release in February 2019.
