Dubliners, whatever plans you had for this weekend you might want to think about cancelling them because a bona-fide celebrity is going to be in our midst.
That’s right, David Hasselhoff, AKA The Hoff, AKA Baywatch’s Mitch Bucannon, is going to be in Dublin for the Gumball 3,000 race, which kicks off on Saturday.

Cars participating in the popular and prestigious driving adventure event will be paraded in Merrion Square at noon on Saturday before they begin the race by setting off for Edinburgh via Belfast on Sunday, the start of a 3,000 mile journey across Europe to the edge of Asia.
According to Hotspots.ie, the Hoff will be partying with celebrity DJ Afrojack, Grammy Award winner rapper Eve and Gumball 3000 race founder Maximillion Cooper in Lillie’s Bordello on Saturday night and if his presence doesn’t attract the crowds, we don’t know what will.
Surely the DJ on the night will give this baby a spin…
