Bunsen, home to one of Ireland’s finest burgers, is five years-old today, and they’re doing something extremely sound to celebrate.
In an incredibly generous move, they have announced that 100% of today’s sales will be split evenly between the 112 staff members that they employ. Fair play to them.
They made the announcement on their Instagram, with the reaction being overwhelmingly positive.
The 112 staff members are spread across six stores in Ireland, four of them being located in Dublin (Wexford St, Temple Bar, South Anne’s St, Ranelagh), and the other two are located in Cork and Befast.
So if you’re planning on going for a Bunsen today, be happy in the knowledge that your money is going to the same person cooking it, preparing it, and serving it to you.
