‘Black Bush Cured’ will see worlds of Irish whiskey and charcuterie combine.

Rob Krawczyk, the man behind Ballydehob’s Chestnut restaurant, has made a name for himself as an award-winning chef. Growing up working in the kitchens of his family’s restaurant and salami business in West Cork, Rob decided to change career paths following six years working in TV and Film and exploded into the culinary and charcuterie scene with a diverse range of unique experience and talent.

Determination, drive and an amazing work ethic, combined with Rob’s creative nature and passion for fantastic food has allowed him to stand out from the pack. Playing with every sense, his dishes have become known for their visual flair as well as their fantastic taste and bring with them a new life to traditional Irish food. “We’re making something that’s unique, premium and deliciously Irish. It’s not Italian or Spanish, and that’s ok. We’re doing it differently.” says Rob about his charcuterie. Innovative and exciting, the chef and charcuterie master is taking your favourite dishes and bringing them into the 21st century

Rob is also the latest collaborator in the #BlackBushStories event series this summer, each a showcase of exciting Irish Industry leaders who aren’t afraid to be unique. Rob will be bringing his talent to the Drury Buildings on Wednesday, 25 July. Hosting a hands-on charcuterie masterclass, Rob will be helping you differentiate your galantines from your ballotines and pâtés from confit.

Spaces for this distinct event are sure to fill up fast so be sure to register for ‘Black Bush Cured’ by visiting BlackBushStories.com. Smell, touch and (most importantly) taste a range of dishes prepared by Rob with opportunities for the whiskey lovers out there to sample some Black Bush drinks on the night.
