Captain Morgan Competition – Terms & Conditions

  • The Promoters are Maximum Media.
    • The promotion is open to residents of the island of Ireland aged 18 or over.
    • No cash alternative to any of the prizes will be offered.
  • Employees or agents of Maximum Media, and their families or other persons connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
  • The Promotion begins on JOE.ie on 9th April 2015 and ends at midnight on 7th May 2015 (“The Promotion Period”). All entries after this date will be deemed invalid.
  • To enter the competition on JOE.ie, show us how you would live like a captain by either recording a Vine or a short video showing Captain Morgan exactly how you live like a Captain. You can either:

  • Entrants must confirm that they are over 18 years of age.
  • Only one entry per household throughout the Promotion Period will be accepted as a valid entry into this Promotion.
  • The competition prizes are as follows:
  • Holiday for 2 people to X location for X days
  • A treasure chest full of Captain Morgan goodies
  • The Promoter may require winners to provide proof of identity and proof of age. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion.
  • The Promoter will chose the winners by way of random draw from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. The winners will be notified by telephone within 1 day after the draw on the telephone number provided on their entry form. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner within 1 day, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner from the remaining entries via the same method.
  • The winners may be required to participate in relevant publicity concerning this Promotion.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control.
  • Proof of submitting an entry is not proof of receipt by the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries which, due to a technical error or any other reason are not received or are delayed.
  • Except where prohibited, participation of the winners constitutes consent to the Promoter and its associated agents’ to use the winners’ name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
  • The Promoter does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. Any data collected will be used solely for the purpose of the Promotion, unless further consent has been obtained at the point of entry for the Promoter to contact entrants with news and information relating to its products and services.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter this promotion.
  • The Promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The prize is not transferable.
  • The Promoters reserve the right to change any aspect of the prize.
  • The prize will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the suppliers of the prize.
  • The Promoters are excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winners arising from his or her acceptance of the prize.
  • Entry to this promotion shall be deemed full and unconditional acceptance of the terms & conditions.
  • The Promoters reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions.
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
