Let us be honest here, one of the highest things on our priorities list when we get to a new city, is just how much a pint is going to cost us there.
For anyone who thought it might be fun to wander into Temple Bar and get the heart-stopping shock of how much a pint costs in there, then we've got some good news and some bad news for you.
The good news is, at least according to this list published by
Deutsche Bank, Dublin only ("only") ranks 12th most expensive on their list when it comes to buying a pint in a "neighbourhood bar".
In fact, and because the entire thing is worked out with dollars, the cost of a pint in Dublin has actually dropped in recent years, from $6.60 / €5.60 in 2014 to $6.50 / €5.50 this year, with London right behind us at $6.40 / €5.40. So, hooray for that.
But in the bad news department, if you happen to be visiting any of the following five, then we hope you've taken a small to medium loan out from your local bank, because you're gonna need it...
