January Blues be gone! Kick off the New Year by treating a friend

It's fair to say that January isn't what you'd call a good month. It starts brilliantly with the countdown and the celebrations into the wee hours of 1 January. And then it's basically downhill from there. Blue Monday is traditionally the third Monday of the year and this has been calculated by experts to be the most depressing day of the year. We're assuming there's some kind of scientific formula involved that takes into account all the contributing factors. Blue Monday is on 15 January this year but Citroën wants your help to turn Blue Monday into Feel Good Monday. And you can give a friend a much-needed boost in the process! You can use social media to suggest a friend who deserves a random act of kindness and we'll do the rest. For every nomination received, they'll also donate €2 to children’s charity Make-A-Wish Ireland and the aim is to raise €3,000. So your nomination can make a real difference, even if your friend isn't chosen. This isn't the first time Citroën have done this, but this time around they're going bigger and better with Citroën dealerships nationwide participating. What sort of random acts of kindness are we talking about? Well, you never know what you'll get if you ask nicely! Last year some lucky people got Ryanair and Boojum vouchers, beauty hampers and even a signed Irish rugby jersey.
