Chinese singletons brilliantly prank loved-up couples with a super Shanghai surprise

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" they said. More like "Hell hath no divilment like a single man on Valentine's Day!"

“Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” they said. More like Hell hath no divilment like a single man on Valentine’s Day!”

Singletons in Shanghai have brilliantly booked up all of the odd-numbered seats for a screening of a Chinese romantic movie called Beijing Love Story, forcing couples to sit apart.

The brains behind the prank teasingly said online ‘”Want to see a movie on Valentine’s Day? Sorry, you’ll have to sit separately. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Give us singles a chance.”

Check out the (fuzzy) seating plan below after the seats had been bought up:

The ringleader behind the prank has remained anonymous, but did give an interview to the Shanghai Morning Post saying he had suffered a difficult breakup last year. Bitter much????
