A festive edition of Taste of Dublin is coming this Christmas

It takes place over four days in the run up to the festive season.

What is the best part about Christmas time?

Presents? Sure, maybe.

Spending time with friends and family? Meh.

Getting to wear nice jumpers because it is cold and snowy out? Yeah… we guess.

They’re all fine answers, but really, the best part of the winter months is the food, because anyone who abides by the “No Carbs Before Marbz” mindset most of the time tends to let it all go in a personal hibernation period in the run-up the Christmas and the New Year.

With that in mind, you’ll be as happy as we are to find out that there is a festive food festival coming to Dublin, from Thursday 28 November to Sunday 1 December, at the RDS in Dublin.

The Taste of Dublin: Festive Edition will feature 50 dishes from over 30 of the country’s top chefs, coming from 15 of Ireland’s top restaurants and food experiences.

Almost 20,000 attendees are expected over the four days, which will feature masterclasses and demos to ensure you’ll be a Christmas cracker at festive food prep.

On top of some celebrity chefs, there will also be live music and entertainment over the weekend. Tickets are on sale for the event right now.
