PIC: Clamping in Dublin has just gone to a whole new extreme

Ah here...

JOE

Next, they’ll be clamping people.

We’ve all been there, you pop into the shop for two minutes for the loaf of bread, a two-litre carton of milk and the paper and you have abandoned the car on two yellow lines.

No problem says you, I’ll be in and out in a flash.

You’re not two seconds in the place and you come back out only to see the sticker on your window and the dreaded yellow apparatus on your wheel.

‘Am I in my f*ck paying that fine’ you say to the clamper on the outside but really in your head you’re thinking ‘oh no, I really need my car, I’m already late.’

It’s not just your car anymore you need to worry about, oh no. It seems that clamping in the capital has gone to a whole new level entirely…

Christopher Farrell got in touch with JOE to tell us about what he came across today in Dublin.

“Don’t know if you seen this today but must be very hard for the guys at Dublin Street Parking Services because just look what I came a cross today on Chatham Street outside Butlers cafe.

“I’m now afraid to put my bins out tonight.”

Cheers to Christopher Farrell for sending this our way. Got a story for JOE? Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102 or mail [email protected].
