People of Cork, the Premier League roadshow is coming to town

JOE

It’s only right that the People’s Republic of Cork didn’t get left out…

While it genuinely feels like the Premier League season has only just begun, this weekend brought us past 100 games. There have been twists, turns, shock defeats, late goals and everything in between so far, and that won’t change any time soon.

On Sunday, 3 November, Tottenham are coming to Everton’s Goodison Park. Two teams that will feel they have a lot more to offer than what recent results have shown, it’s one of the more fascinating ties of an action-packed weekend.

Spurs have proven time and time again to be capable of creating something special, and three points for Everton could be just the spark they need. If you’d like to watch what should be a cracker of a match in the presence of Gary Breen and Brian Kerr, Reardan’s pub in the city centre is the place to go and you can get tickets here.

Tickets cost €5, but all proceeds will go to Sport Against Racism Ireland. Everyone who attends will receive a free ice-cold Coke upon arrival, and there will be a limited number of VIP seats for any designated drivers in the house who are there only for a love of the game.

We’re talking prizes, keepie-uppie and foosball tournaments, and live match panels, it’s about a lot more than just the game itself.

Doors open at 3pm with kickoff at 4:30pm. This is the fourth outing for the roadshow, but there is one more of these events planned if you can’t make this one:

  • Dublin for Man City v Chelsea on Sat, 23 November – tickets here
