They finally met after three long years

That’s dedication.

The Tinder couple who finally met after their three years long have gone on their first date in Hawaii.

The popular dating app offered to send Kent State University students Josh Avsec and Michelle Arendas on a dream getaway date after they went viral last month.

And Josh and Michelle invited Good Morning America, who set up the would be couple’s first official meeting, to join them on their Hawaiian vacation.

The pair soaked up some sun in their luxurious surroundings before catching up with the cameras to reveal what they really thought of each other.

Michelle said:

“On this trip I have learned about Josh’s incredible energy.

“He is just always excited and always energetic, even on like a hot day like today, he’s always ready to go.”

And Josh seemed to have nothing but glowing things to say about his date.

He said:

“You should hear her talk about her dreams and her passions and her career path … [her] determination and perseverance, it’s really rare and awesome to be apart of.”

But we’re not too sure if the sparks were flying just yet…

Michelle said she was sure their “paths will cross” once they head back to Kent State University.

She added:

“We’re heading back to Kent soon and I know we don’t have any concrete plans yet.

“But I’m sure our paths will cross once we get back there.”

Meanwhile, Josh seemed a little more optimistic about a second date.

He said:

“With everything going on, it’s been hard to talk about the little things like when we do go back.

“She’s so much fun I know once we get back home we’re gonna want to meet up again.”
