Hats off to ASOS.
How many times have we sent a message to a clothing company on Facebook but never get a response? Once? Twice?
Have they ever gotten back to you? Probably not. If they do get back to you? The message goes along the lines of, ‘thank you for your message, please contact…’
Look chief, if I wanted to talk to another human being over the phone I would have done so already but I’m socially awkward hence why I sent you a Facebook message so just please, respond, okay?
ASOS have just taken their reply game to the next level though.
A man by the name of Stephen Cannon was not happy with a t-shirt he bought in the store and wanted to do an old swapsies.
He had returned the t-shirt in July and it was now August and he had heard nothing so he took it upon himself to throw ASOS a message over Facebook in the style of rapper, Eminem…
Re-writing the words of Em’s famous 2000 song with Dido, Stan, Cannon takes on the role of Stan and said:
“I sent you my exchange but it still ain’t returning, I left my size product code and order number at the bottom, I sent for a T-shirt back in July you must not of Got Em, there must be a problem at the post office or something.
“Anyway f*** it how’s ya marketplace. you probably hear this everyday, I’m your biggest fan, I’ve got a wardrobe full of your clothes and shoes man.
“Anyway hope you get this, hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, Biggest fan Stephen Can”
ASOS wasn’t going to let this go unnoticed and got back to Cannon within an hour with their response taking on the part of Eminem in the song…
The company have put a lot of time into this response and we take our hats off to them.
