We also wouldn’t mind knowing how much is being spent.

Food delivery service Deliveroo has released some statistics around takeaways being ordered to various government departments in Ireland.

The data reveals that the number one government office for ordering food is, unsurprisingly, Leinster House — the base of both Dáil Éireann and Seanad Éireann. Making up the rest of the top five are the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Department of Finance, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform and the Department of the Taoiseach.

17 different restaurants were listed as popular takeaways for TDs and their staff, with Boojum on Kevin St sitting pretty atop the list. After that it was Sprout & Co on Baggot St.

Other restaurants to feature included Eddie Rocket’s, KFC and Supermac’s.

Not all would necessarily agree with that last bit…
