The Garda Air Support Unit is showing a surprising knack for photography these days…
Yesterday, the lads surprised us all with an incredible shot of Dublin City during Michael Bublé’s concert in Croke Park on Saturday night.
On Monday morning, they’re showing off their propensity for nature photography — capturing the beautiful scenery of Lough Derravaragh in County Westmeath, as seen on Sunday evening.

Of course, we’ve partly got the heatwave to thank for providing Ireland with some very photogenic conditions, but we’re glad that the few of us with access to helicopters are making the most of it.
Looking forward to future photos from the Air Support Unit in future. Maybe they’ll eventually be able to give up the day job…
