Apparently Mickey Mouse isn’t a big smoker.

Disney World, which has parks in California, Paris and Orlando, is a popular holiday destination for Irish people.

But if you’re planning to go there this summer, there’s been a few rule changes that you might want to be aware of.

A statement issued by the company has confirmed that they are changing the rules on bringing strollers into the parks: “Beginning May 1, we are adjusting our guidelines on stroller sizes, which will require them to be no larger than 31″ (79cm) wide and 52″ (132cm) long. The good news – many strollers on the market, including many double jogging strollers, fit within these size guidelines.”

While that might not be too controversial, there’s very bad news for smokers.

Also beginning May 1, smoking areas will no longer be present inside Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme parks, water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex or Downtown Disney District in California.

A statement posted by Lisa Mendillo, Communications Manager at Disney, this ban will also include vaping.

Effective immediately, the parks have also banned visitors bringing in their own loose ice to keep food or drinks cool.

The updated rules can be read in full here.
