Something to bear in mind if you’re holidaying at home this year.
TripAdvisor’s annual list of the best hotels in Ireland has been released and it’s good news for Harvey’s Point in Donegal, which has taken top spot for 2016.
The hotel in Donegal Town took top spot ahead of prestigious hotels such as Ashford Castle in Mayo and the Merrion Hotel in Dublin and will be a further boost to its reputation after it took top spot in a similar list compiled by Trivago last year.
Hotels in Laois, Cork, Limerick, Clare and Kerry also commanded spots in the TripAdvisor top ten (below), while you can see the full list of Ireland’s top 25 hotels here.
